Car Service NYC
Christmas is over and it’s a New Year even for Car Service NYC
However you say it – Twenty Ten or Two Thousand Ten- it is not only a new year but a new decade. Lot’s of big things are happening in this new decade in the Big Apple.
As of January 29th 2010, Limo and Black-car drivers will no longer be able to talk on their cell phones (at all) while the passenger is in the car and even with no passenger in the car! No blue-tooth, no hands-free, nada, no communications! This will make it extra difficult for clients who are looking for their cars, and will certainly lead to massive ticketing as the city’s decision to make money hides behind “safety”.
Now unless you look this poor soul …………………………
Are you paying attention?
Here’s a link to the actual ruling.
cannot figure out that a blue tooth or wired headset frees them to put two hands on the wheel. Don’t see too many of these intellectuals being affected or stopped by the current hands free law as they wobble one handed (sometimes no hands) around the roads, but this WILL be an issue very soon for Livery travel.
At Automotive Luxury, the technology has been installed in several of the ALS vehicles that will display the car’s location on-screen. That type of “tracking device” may be the next wave of value added service from Automotive Luxury. Stay tuned for more info on that one.
For those looking for safe car service NYC or transportation from airport in the New Year, call Automotive Luxury is still offering free upgrades and one way drop off specials.
Hope all of you had a great Holiday Season and Automotive looks forward to serving you in the Twenty Ten decade.
